The very first Zebro's store opened in Caledon in 1998 but it wasn't until 2001 when the brand was franchised and a number of stores opened in the Western and Eastern Cape In 2014 Taste Holdings Limited acquired the brand with the intention of sharing the unique chicken and famous sauce with the rest of South Africa. A brand new store look with the focus being the braai experience instore was launched at the end of 2017. The brand has already opened four of these stores as the look has proved to be very successful. Franchisor Support: Taste provides assistance with preparing finance applications, identifying suitable sites as well as initial and ongoing training support. Franchise consultants visit stores on a regular basis to conduct store reports and audits to assess your needs and help you work through any challenges. The national marketing fund is used to drive national marketing activities, including national advertising, promotions, public relations and brand awareness. The marketing team provides guidance, design and support for local store marketing initiatives as well. |

All franchisees are required to complete a five day training program that covers day-to-day operations, staffing, stock control, marketing and management skills. Your staff will be required to complete five days practical training at our offices in Johannesburg. Additional onsite assistance and training is provided for 1 week once the store has opened. |
